BUSHELL WINS AND MOVES INTO LEAD IN RUNABOUT TITLE RACE

Friday, 24 November, DUBAI (UAE): James Bushell moved to the top of the championship standings in Runabout GP1 after taking his second win of the year in Moto 1 at the UIM-ABP Grand Prix of Dubai, with his arch rival and defending world champion Yousef Al Abdulrazzaq retiring on lap 8.

Bushell hit the front on lap 3 when race leader Rashed Al Tayer was given a 10 second stop-go penalty for jumping the start and sliced through the field, lapping all but two riders.

Lars Akerblom once again proved his consistency to take second place, his best result of the year, with pole-sitter Carl Lampe coming home in third.
