ROK EDGES OUT BROTHER NAC IN FREESTYLE

Friday, 2 June, PORTO CESAREO (Italy): The anticipated battle for top spot in Freestyle materialised in qualifying with the Florjancic brothers Rok and Nac trading tricks, the elder of the two Rok coming out on top on his new ski by a narrow two point margin, 80-78.

 

The Slovenian brothers who have owned the world title for the last five years traded points, Rok gaining the upper hand for style and quantity of tricks, Nac for variety.

 

Tour newcomer Jaroslav Tirner from the Czech Republic finished in third ahead of Italians Alberto Camerlengo and Roberto Mariani.
