SECRETARY OF STATE FOR SPORTS WELCOMES RIDERS TO NYÍREGYHÁZA-LEVELEK

Friday, 14 June, Nyíregyháza-Levelek  (Hungary): The UIM-ABP Aquabike’s busy schedule continues this weekend with riders from across Europe in Nyíregyháza-Levelek for the Grand Prix of Hungary, round 2 of the European Championship.

 

The riders were welcomed by Olympian and quadruple swimming silver medallist at Olympic, World and European Championships, Tünde Szabó, Secretary of State for Sports of the Ministry of Human Resources.

 

With registration and technical scrutineering completed a hectic schedule with 13 different categories across Runabout, Ski and Freestyle is currently underway with first practice which is followed by official qualifying this afternoon from 1620-1900 [local time].

 

Ski GP1 stars Emma-Nellie Ortendahl and Kevin Reiterer will be looking to extend their championship leads after both carded perfect scores in round 1 in Penfiel, Portugal, with Runabout points leader Christophe Agostinho looking to hold off the challenge he is likely to face from Samuel Johansson and Andrzej Wisniewski.
