Tuesday, 13 September: France’s Jeremy Poret has been given the green light by his doctor and cleared to race in the final Grand Prix of the season in Liuzhou, China on 4-5 October.
Poret must now hope that his damaged cruciate knee ligaments hold out for the final two heats of the year, before returning to France have surgery.
The Frenchman can still be caught in the title race by both Jean Baptiste Botti and Christopher Courtois, but needs just 20 points to regain the Ski F1 World title which he won in 2009, but conceded to his brother Mickael last year after missing the last event, through injury.
