EUROPEAN TITLES WON AND CHAMPIONS CROWNED IN VALRAS

 

Wednesday, 9 September: The final throws of the dice to win the first major international silverware of the season were rolled last weekend in Valras, France, the fourth and final round of the 2015 UIM-ABP Aquabike European Continental Championships.

 

In Ski GP1 France’s Mickael Poret scraped home by a single point to take the overall title from Nacho Armillas and Raphael Maurin, with Armillas taking top honours in Ski GP2.

 

Beatriz Curtinhal held off the challenge to win the Ladies title in Ski GP 2 from Jonna Borgstrom and Jennifer Menard, with Roberto Mariani taking the top honours in Freestyle.

 

The Runabout GP1 crown was won in Mirandella by Jeremy Perez, second place overall going to Didier Chabert with Christophe Agostinho in third.
