REITERER ON A ROLL HEADING TO SPAIN

Tuesday, 16 June: Austrian Ski GP1 ace Kevin Reiterer heads to Roses, Girona in North East Spain this weekend looking to maintain his perfect record in round 2 of the UIM-ABP European Continental Championship.

Two wins out of two and the title in Porec in May puts the 22-year-old from Wiener Neustadt on top of the standings with 50 points, ten clear of Spaniard Nacho Armillas and a further eight clear of Frenchman Mickael Poret.

Reiterer has made a big impact in his debut season on the UIM-ABP World tour and is currently the man to beat on the European tour; his first outing in Qatar was ruined by a breakdown from third place in heat 2 after taking fourth in heat 1, but in Castro earlier this month he overcame testing conditions and a titanic duel with Mickael Poret, the duo trading heat wins, Reiterer’s heat 2 win giving him his maiden GP title.
